ICABBrasil launches visual identity created by AMA BRASIL in honour of Indian Day, 19th of April

On Indian Day, 19th of April 2021, AMA BRASIL delivered to ICABBrasil (Instituto dos Caciques de Base do Brazil) its logo, content of audiovisual development, design and layout of visual identity. Completed formats for communicating and disseminating projects, actions and activities, were also delivered.

Founded in 2017, with the support and subscription of AMA BRASIL and its president, Hermann Palmeira, ICABBrasil originated to organize actions and demands of indigenous peoples throughout the national territory. Responsible for developing tribes and regions is the president, indigenous leader Adriel Sales da Conceição, also known as Chief Adriel Kokama of the kokama ethnic group, along with other Chiefs, Tuxauas and Leaders of equal importance. Focused on unity for the claim of rights, exposure of demands, fulfilment of duties, joint organization of actions allowed the expression of a unified voice, regardless of the differences of origin and ethnic groups they subdivided. All form a homogeneous group, a heritage of their ancient ancestors. Current Amerindians carry the same characteristics. It is a single population who inhabited, prospered and developed in this country, allowing us to be what we are today.

At a time when all is about origins and races, including the consequences of the slavery of people of African origin and all debts that can last for present and future generations, indeed, most people cannot ponder how much the indigenous peoples who used to own the house we live in today, were overwhelmed and as there is still great difficulty in recognizing their rights and duties to society, there is a consensus among ICABBrazil leaders that justice should be achieved by demonstrating the strength and unity among its leaders and its peoples, on an equal footing with all of society, respecting and exalting the resistance already exercised to date and principally in the capacity for social, cultural, political, educational, environmental and economic positioning, as it is in this face-to-face and in a representative way that everyone will be able to plant the seeds of justice in different dimensions, and if this does not occur, there will be more inheritance of destruction, domination and usurpation, instead of recognition and unity among all races and origins.

ICABBrazil has the challenge of transforming the inner voices into a chorus of alert, aiming at the real needs and expressions for policies of their peoples, true engagement of the authorities and support from society with justice in all areas of action. Leaders and chiefs continue to work to achieve inside and outside Brazil, unconditional support for the effective growth of indigenous culture, strengthening the current identity of the American peoples who have arrived until here. Indigenous DNA is paramount in the continental formation of modern history. Firm in its origins and differences, certain that all voices together form the chorus that must be heard, not only on April 19th but on any day of the year, as other groups. In addition there are still children, women, the elderly, people with different comorbidities and special survival conditions, so it is of great significance that we pay attention to this category.
