After a long period of a feasibility study for the implementation and acquisition of an area in the rural area of Greater São Paulo, the project for structuring AMA BRASIL’s own Environmental Farm unit was started in the Serra da Cantareira region, in the municipal of Mairiporã, state of São Paulo, signed by President Hermann Palmeira, with a contract covering an area of approximately 50,000 square meters, with infrastructure already in place to carry out environmental, agroforestry, cultural, educational and social projects, allowing the expansion of the activities, and offering quality income, leisure and occupational alternatives at this complex time, amidst the difficulties imposed by the pandemic that has lasted for over a year.
The Environmental Farm in "Serra da Cantareira" will receive the implementation of multiple projects, allowing for the participation of people of all ages in the various segments of activities, having as an existing infrastructure a prefabricated wooden house which has been the headquarters for more than 35 years. A well-preserved construction with five individual apartments, a shed for various activities, a large barbecue and kitchen area, swimming pool, playground, ornamental lakes, orchard, vegetable garden, native forest and the possibility of restructuring and improving these facilities, as well as the of construction of new structures, for study and planning to improve in all its services, offering good quality of life to users, residents and associates.
